The Infinite Learning Profile
Before lessons begin, your child completes a short online assessment of what they know and how they learn. The report it produces shapes the tutor we choose and every lesson that follows.

Beyond learning styles
This assessment looks beyond learning styles to understand how students actually learn, study, and succeed. It provides a clear, evidence-based picture of a student’s learning habits, thinking skills, and study strategies.
Most tutoring starts at lesson one and finds the gaps as it goes. We start with evidence, so the first lesson is already aimed at the right things.
What it measures
What they know
Subject questions aligned to AQA specifications, auto-marked the moment your child finishes. They show which topics are secure, which are shaky, and which never quite landed, mapped to the papers your child will actually sit.
How they learn
A short study-habits questionnaire covering focus, memory, planning, and whether your child already uses the study techniques with the strongest evidence behind them, such as retrieval practice and spaced study. It takes around 5–7 minutes to complete. There are no right or wrong answers; we are simply interested in how your child usually learns.
From the answers, we identify how a student currently approaches learning, where their strengths lie, and which strategies will have the greatest impact on confidence, retention, and exam performance.
What the report shows
Strengths, gaps, and the strategies most likely to move your child’s grades, written in plain language. Because the assessment re-runs at the start of each term, the Profile also shows progress: strengths building and gaps closing, term on term, in your Parent Dashboard alongside your tutor’s lesson reports.
The Profile is descriptive, never diagnostic. It shows how your child learns; it does not test for any condition or attach a label.

The report that plans the lessons
We choose your child’s tutor against the Profile: subject, exam board, pace and personality. Your tutor reads it before the first lesson and works from it every week after, closing the gaps it found and teaching with the strategies that suit your child. When the Profile re-runs, the plan adjusts with it.

The Profile is stage two. We start with a free parent consultation, 20–30 minutes about your child and whether we are the right fit; there is no obligation to proceed after the consultation. If we go ahead, your child completes the assessment online before lessons begin, as the first piece of work we do together.
